Tony Billson

Chairman of the Trustees. Tony was previously chairman of the National Hockey Centre Ltd, the now dormant trading company of the Foundation which was responsible for operating the National Hockey Stadium until closure. Tony has been involved in the administration of Hockey at all levels for some 25 years.

Mrs Jan Baker     

A retired teacher. A member of Salisbury Hockey Club for over 40 years and has served on its committee in almost every role. Formerly Vice President of England Hockey & President of the West HA. Currently Chairperson of Wiltshire County, Secretary of the West Junior Performance Committee & Manager to the England Lady Masters over 45s. Passionate about hockey and a keen supporter of our national teams including the England Lady Masters.   

John Cove

One of two Milton Keynes Council representatives. John is Group Director - Community Learning at the Council. John is also vice chair of the national charity 4Children, a member of the South East Regional Board of Sport England and a non executive director of MK Dons Football Club.

Chris Darling

A retired teacher of mathematics an educational manager, Chris had a long involvement with the Warrington Club but now lives in the Yorkshire Dales umpiring and occasionally playing, mainly with the Ben Rhydding Club. He uses his scheduling and software skills in fixture planning for the National League and most of the leagues operating in the North. Versed in school, club, county and major event organisation, Chris was a member of HA Management Committee & EHA Council and is a non executive director of England Hockey. A past President of the North and Lancashire he now chairs the recently established North Performance Committee and has led the process of establishing the 3 JRPCs based within the North Region. 

Andy Dransfield

An Information Technology Consultant. One of two Milton Keynes Council representatives. A Milton Keynes Councillor and member of many committees. A Trustee and Chairman of Shenley Leisure Centre Trust Limited. A Board Member of National Hockey Centre Limited.

Mike Fulwood

A consultant in the international natural gas industry. Mike is currently honorary secretary of the Bucks HA and a member (coach) at Aylesbury HC. He previously played hockey for, and was involved in a number of administrative positions with, Nottingham University, Nuneaton and Spencer Hockey Clubs. 

David Laing

 

 

Ben Rea (appointed 29 July 2009)

Formerly Acting Secretary General of both the EHA & England Hockey, past President of Surrey & the South. Member of many EH committees and chairman of the EH Disciplinary Panel. Currently a non executive director of England Hockey, president of Wimbledon HCand Chairman of the International Masters Hockey Association.

John Waters

Spent many years in Local Government Leisure & recreation departments and for the ten years prior to his retirement John was General Manager for Leisure and recreation in Milton Keynes. John was heavily involved with the National Hockey Centre for 10 years and remains an active sportsman.
